Banana “Ice Cream” – A Flavourful Vegan Dessert

This is a great lighter way to enjoy ice cream. It is ready in under 10 minutes, has the flavour of ice cream but packs less calories and more nutrition.



4 medium-large bananas, sliced and frozen

1/3 Cup Toasted Almonds

¼ Cup of Maple Syrup

2 Teaspoons of Vanilla

½ Teaspoon of Salt

½ Cup (120ml) Almond Milk or regular milk



  1. Slice 4 bananas. Place in sealed bag in freezer for at least 2 hours.
  2. Using a food processor, add all ingredients and pulse until texture is like soft serve ice cream!
  3. Enjoy!


Keep stored in a freezer safe container for up to 2 weeks.
