Classic Hummus – Quick Summer Recipe from bakeyourwaykitchen!
Hummus is a wonderful dip for any occasion this summer. It is delicious and so easy and cheap to make.
1 Can of Chickepeas (drained)
1/4 Cup of Chickpea Water
1 1/2 Teaspoons of Coridander
1 1/2 Teaspoon of Cummin
1/4 Cup of Tablespoons of Olive Oil
1/4 Cup of Tahini
Zest of 1/2 lemon
1/3-1/2 Lemon Juice (start with a 1/3 cup, add more if desired)
1-3 Cloves of Garlic (adding 3 will be provide a strong garlic flavour)
1. Drain chickpea water and reserve 1/4 cup. Insert chickpeas in a food processor.
2. Blend together.
3. Add remaining ingredients.
4. Add more oil, tahini or chickpea water (if needed).
Keep refrigerated and stored in an air tight container.
